Every year, we bring a fresh perspective on decorating your home and the theme behind this year’s show is “Home is Where the Heart is”
The focus is on redefining the concept of a home by showcasing timeless trends, together with functionality, with convenient comfort. While trends come and go, we recognise that putting your individual stamp on your home is what counts. And as such, this year’s theme is aimed at styling a distinctive space best suited to its unique inhabitants – the family!
CONCEPTUALISING CREATIVE INSPIRATION
Say hello to Show Director, Cairey Baxter-Bruce – whose creative vision and years of industry experience are behind an annual show that is unforgettable and distinctively unique every single year.
Cairey took over the East Coast Radio House & Garden Show in 2017, bringing over 18 years of experience in the field of décor and design exhibitions with her. Aside from bringing to life the latest local and international home and garden trends under one roof, Cairey’s passion for KwaZulu-Natal’s art and design scene and her eye for local emerging design talent will also see the show focus on promoting the best home-grown artists, designers and crafters.
As a working mother of two small children, wife and home-maker, Cairey’s own home is a functional blend of practicality and style, where everyone feels comfortable. It is this that led her to come up with this year’s show theme: ‘Make Yourself at Home’ and this that lies behind her vision for a show experience that the whole family can enjoy.
