A premium, state of the art Defy cooking zone will be a highlight at this year’s Defy Stand. The Defy Junior Chef Zone, targeted at kids from the age of 7-13 years, the zone will teach kids how to make their own nutritious meals with selected Defy small appliances (i.e. Power Blender, Toaster, Hand Mixer, Microwave, etc.) in a fun and interactive way. Leading from the theme, ”Mom, look what I can cook!”, Defy wants to encourage kids to always “Believe in Better” by instilling a sense of independence in their lives. What better way to do this than by teaching them how to prepare and make their own nutritious meals with minimal adult supervision as possible.
The Kids Cooking Classes will be instructed by a local Durban professional chef – Luke Reddy. Luke Reddy owns a restaurant (Crafts Men) and a bakery (Moideen The Bread Peddler).
